Snapshots / April #1
It’s APRIL! 2012 is completely flying by, isn’t it? My life recently: a few adventures, projects galore, a little bit of travel, and a lot of relaxation before the outdoor track and field schedule dominates my life.

March: The Olympic Training Center, Chula Vista. I spent a glorious few days in Southern California at a steeplechase workshop. The first day was beautiful– if I had the opportunity to live and train in a place like this, I would never stress about a workout!

March: The Olympic Training Center, Chula Vista. Unfortunately, the weather didn’t stay sunny and warm the rest of the weekend in Chula Vista– in fact, the days I was testing hurdling and the water jump, it was rainy and frigid! Still, you just can’t beat those views. Swoon!

March: Save-the-Dating. John painting this pretty little watercolor for our custom Save the Date stamp. We used Stamps.com to order sheets and sheets of them– I’m not crazy about how the stamp actually came out, with the .com logo and all on them, but the water color turned out so gorgeous, I’m happy!

March 29: FĂȘte love shoot prep at Jen Fariello’s Glass Building studio. Our love shoot winners get all done up before we let them snuggle, smooch, and love for the camera! So excited to show the stunning images from this day…

March 29: More love shooting… We channeled Old Hollywood glamour for this fun shoot!

March 31: Delray Beach, Florida. Kelly and Ryan get hitched! Our dear friends Kelly and Ryan tied the knot on the beach in a rain storm on Saturday. Despite the rain, the entire wedding managed to have a complete blast– this couple is so laid back and fun, they were able to roll with it! John and I were with Kelly as she got ready– her dress was so romantic and she left her hair down with tight waves that softened as the day went on.

April 1: Long run-turned photoshoot. John and I hit the trails in South Florida to get a tan AND an 80 minute run in. We ran past swamps and loved the texture of these trees. Besides that beard, doesn’t he look great?

April 7: Norris, Tennessee. In Tennessee, I stay close to this cute little town called Norris, which runs alongside a dam and nestles into some gorgeous mountains. I love running out there and snapped this as the sun was setting after a beautiful Saturday run last weekend.

April 5: Fabric shopping! Starting to roll on some big wedding DIYs… which yellow is just right? (We ended up choosing the one in the middle, goldenrod.)
Happy April! What do you have planned this month?
