Thought o’the Week: The Days

Oh, it’s so true. There is never– and will never– be enough time. Everyday some stone gets left unturned– I try to at least catch all those “thoughts I want to think” by writing everything down obsessively (scraps of paper litter our apartment and I’ve started using Evernote to keep things flowing between my phone and my computer). But the thought of all the books out there in the world that I want to read, but will probably never get to… all the magazines I own that will never see the outside their wrapping…
Then there are the friends I mean to text, but then get distracted. The letters I mean to write, but emails take over. There is SO MUCH in this world! Why aren’t we doing these things more? It’s time for a massive restructuring of our society. Remember when we were younger, learning that in Spain, there was a required siesta every day? I don’t know if that’s still the case, but the idea of this other world, where people lived a more fulfilling life– doesn’t that sound so nice? There should be a required “do stuff you love” period every work day, that forces you to make time for these things. Because how many of us, at the end of this week, will look back and think of all those ___’s we didn’t make time to do?

Evernote is awesome-you may find that it is a great place to gather your inspiration. My biggest tips-learn how to use the page camera, and install it on all of your devices!

> I LOVE Evernote– just became a recent convert. It’s a lifesaver and it’s usually open on my phone and laptop for easy access. Thanks for the tip!!
