Sara Payne & Matt Barber
Pippin Hill
June 18, 2011
There’s nothing we love more than an Pippin Hill wedding full of cute little details, a gorgeous Vera Wang dress, and all All-Star cast of vendors– except maybe seeing it on film. Sara & Matt chose Aaron Watson’s cinematography company, Exist N Motion, to do their wedding film, and the end result is a tear-jerking, high energy, romantic compilation of their big day. Exist N Motion specializes in “fusion”– combining film, voice, music, and stills. You might tear up during the ceremony clips, but trust me– you’re going to want to stay until the end! Psst– check out Sara & Matt’s wedding in the Fall Weddings issue of the Hook here!

Our love story: We met about eight years ago while Matt was working at the Freestyle Ski Shop and Sara was teaching skiing at Wintergreen, but did not start dating until we both ended up in Colorado. Our love for the outdoors and each other has kept us together since then!
“Wow” Moment: Walking down the aisle at Pippin Hill, looking at all our family and friends with the beautiful mountain backdrop. It was such a gorgeous setting!
Favorite fashion detail: My beautiful Vera Wang dress, the Diedre, and the handmade ties for Matt and the groomsmen.
Design Inspiration: Casual elegance. We started with blues and greens that reminded us of the natural beauty of Virginia as well as our home in Colorado and carried that through the printed materials and decor.
